The Gerontology Associate of Applied Science Degree program
provides specialized training for employment in businesses or agencies
providing services to the elderly population. This program provides
an overview of the aging process and problems associated with normal
growth and development, with an emphasis on the development, implementation,
and evaluation of programs that meet the needs of older adults.
The required practicum will allow students to gain hands-on experience
needed to work with the aging population.
