PHLEBOTOMY TECHNICIAN ( PYN1) (EE)
Technical Certificate of Credit
The Phlebotomy Technician technical certificate is to provide educational
opportunities for persons desiring employment skills and to enable
them to attain the educational and practical work experience necessary
so they may expand their opportunities for professional employment
as health care workers (phlebotomists).
Special requirements: At the beginning of the PHL103 class the
students will be required to provide the following information:
Current physical exam and immunization records, including Hepatitis
B
CPR and first aid card
TB skin test
Varicella titer
Background check and drug screen
Malpractice insurance
Uniforms – White or Navy blue
Failure to provide this could result in the student not being able
to register for PHL105.
