The Emergency Management Associate Degree program is a sequence
of courses that prepares students for positions in the emergency
management profession. Learning opportunities develop academic,
technical, and professional knowledge and skills required for job
acquisition, retention, and advancement. Emergency managers work
in a variety of professional settings. There is a critical and growing
need for emergency management personnel in public and private areas.
The student obtaining a degree in Emergency Management is prepared
for employment as an Emergency Management Director for government
agencies, private corporations and industry, and education or health
care institutions.
