Online Learning FAQs
How can I become an online student at CGTC?
The first step is to be accepted at CGTC. You can contact the Admissions Office at (478) 757-3403 or (478) 445-2303 for details on CGTC's admissions policy. After you are admitted, you can find out how to register for an online course by visiting the Online Registration Page.

How do I start my courses?
Courses are maintained on the ANGEL server.
ANGEL is a Web-based course management and collaboration portal that enables educators to manage course materials and to communicate with students. Once you enter your username and password, you will go directly to your own course homepage.
The username and password for ANGEL is:
schoolcode_studentid
The school code for CGTC is 35 and your student id is the number printed on your ID card. You will NOT be able to use your social security number.
For example, if your school is Central Georgia Technical College and your student id is 910199999, your username would be 35_910199999 and your password would be 35_910199999.

If you do not have access to ANGEL after one day, please contact the instructor of the class or use the Online Course Problem Reporter.
