BUSINESS TECHNOLOGY
A career focused on business technology is a great return on your investment. Employment in business services industries is projected to be among the fastest growing job sectors between now and 2018. CGTC is a leader in providing the skills that graduates need to compete in this popular job market.
Business is Booming
Want to be part of one of the fastest-growing industries? CGTC offers students real-world experience to prepare them for a career focused on business technology. CGTC’s hospitality management program prepares graduates for careers in the largest service industry in the world. Programs such as accounting, banking and finance, management courses, and more ensure that CGTC's graduates are ready to meet today’s business demands.
HEALTH TECHNOLOGY
According to the Georgia Workforce 2016 Report, one out of every twelve jobs will be in the health services field, with an estimated 100,000 jobs added in Georgia alone. Five of the twenty fastest growing occupations in Georgia are in health care and CGTC's health technology labs are always updated to keep up with industry standards and demand. CGTC is recognized as a Center of Excellence for health care training in central Georgia.
Healthcare Goes High-Tech
CGTC's students train in fully functional state-of-the-art labs that feature cardiac catheterization, echocardiography, and computed radiography equipment, then further their education with hands-on training in hospital clinical facilities across Georgia. Additionally, our Orthopedic Technology program is one of the few nationally accredited programs east of the Mississippi River. CGTC also offers a million-dollar fully-equipped biotechnology lab to train students in this rapidly expanding field. No matter the specialization, CGTC offers the facilities and training to help graduates succeed.

With leading edge technology and small class sizes, our students are ready to build the computers and networking infrastructures of tomorrow.

The Technology of Tomorrow Starts Today
CGTC is home to a Cisco regional academy and Microsoft IT Academy. Our students average a 100% certification pass rate on the CompTIA A+, Microsoft MC P, and Cisco CC NA exams. Whether you want to build computers or design the software that drives them, CGTC's information technology program has something for you.
PUBLIC SERVICES
Want to make a difference? A career in the public services profession will give you that chance. CGTC offers courses designed to prepare students for rewarding careers focused on strengthening our communities. Whether to beautify, protect, or enrich, careers in the public services are in high demand and our graduates are ready to serve.
Make a Statement While Making a Difference
Our cosmetology and barbering labs give students hands-on training to make people look their best. Programs in criminal justice, emergency management, and fire science prepares our graduates to keep communities safe. In fact, CGTC is the only college in Georgia to offer an emergency management program. Graduates from the early childhood care and education programs are ready to take care of the generations of tomorrow.
TECHNICAL
CGTC's technical program prepares our graduates to take control of their career. Students from this program have consistently dominated state and national competitions that test skills and abilities. Using high tech instruments and computer software, graduates from CGTC's technical program design and innovate the electronics, video games, and industrial systems of tomorrow.
Education That Works
CGTC's aircraft structural technology course offers a co-op program that could qualify students for an interview with Robins Air Force Base, the largest employer in Georgia. CGTC is also home to the Instrumentation and Controls Academy, a partnership with Georgia Power that prepares graduates for a career that powers the world.
TRADE & INDUSTRIAL
If you like working with your hands, a career in CGTC's trade and industrial program is for you. Graduates from this program build, repair, and maintain cabinetry, automotive engines, heating and cooling systems, and more. If you would rather manage the project from start to finish, CGTC offers a construction management program that prepares graduates for a career in project management supervision.
Take a Hands On Approach to Your Future
CGTC's students hone their skills in leading-edge labs and by using highly-advanced simulation equipment. ATECH simulation software allows students to simulate automotive problems and perform diagnostics from their desk. Our welding lab, featuring a CNC plasma table and state-of-the-art ventilation system, provides hands-on training in all areas of welding and joining technology. The Industrial Electrical Technology program is filling the job market of today while
researching the technology of tomorrow.
