Expand and improve educational/workforce development resources for the service area by providing quality faculty and staff; convenient, easily accessible facilities; leading-edge technology; extensive learning resources; industry standard equipment; and other physical and fiscal resources. Expected Results CGTC Assets By FY 2014, the total assets of CGTC will have increased ten percent (10%) over the total assets of the College in FY 2008. ** Funds Raised From FY 2009 through FY 2014, CGTC will assist the CGTC Foundation in raising one million dollars ($1,000,000) in cash and in-kind donations each year.* Full-time Faculty Each year, from FY 2009 through FY 2014, over fifty percent (50%) of CGTC credit program instruction will be performed by full-time faculty. ** Professional Development Each year, from FY 2009 through FY 2014, one-hundred percent (100%) of full-time personnel will participate in approved professional development activities.** Develop a comprehensive resource development program including College advancement, community relations, grant writing, and support for Foundation efforts. Improve facilities by renovating the Macon Campus A Building, constructing a Milledgeville Campus Healthcare Building, constructing a Macon Campus Healthcare Annex and a Childcare Center, establishing a Monroe County center, establishing an Economic Development facility in downtown Macon, installing covered walkways, improving ADA compliance throughout all campus facilities and enhancing adult learning facilities. Provide outstanding full-time and part-time personnel by providing professional development training focused on instructional quality, college-wide customer service, and the QEP effort; improving support for adjuncts; and enhancing utilization of personnel for credit/non-credit instruction. G7O4. Information and Instructional Technology and Equipment Focus improvement of information and instructional technology and equipment on enhanced multi-campus, remote site, and building-to-building conferencing; enhanced BANNER implementation, provision of industry-standard equipment, and development of a pervasive digital culture. Maximize fiscal resources for programs and services through quality financial management; including enhanced reports and communication; enhanced cost efficiency for utilities, construction, and operations; improved coordination among functional units for enhanced cost efficiencies; and effective analysis of equipment purchases and “just-in-time” leases. |
