II. D. 5. Dress Code
Proper AttireCentral Georgia Technical College conducts educational programs to prepare students for employment. Working in the dynamic environment of adult education involves constant interaction with students, business and industry representatives and the general public. All students are expected to dress appropriately according to the occupations for which they are being trained to ensure their health and safety. In like manner, it is expected that all members of the faculty and staff dress in a conservative, professional manner consistent with accepted office attire standards.
Examples of unacceptable professional attire include: muscle shirts, tank tops, tube tops, shorts, sun dresses, shirt/blouses which expose the midriff, hats and/or caps. Proper attire guidelines will be observed regardless of whether or not classes are in session and students are on campus.
