Resolving FAFSA Issues
In the processing of Financial Aid Applications, matches are performed between the Department of Education, Selective Service, Social Security Administration and the Department of Homeland Security. Your application may have a conflict in one of these areas. Failure to resolve the conflict will result in not qualifying for Financial Aid. The document needed is listed below along with a link to a brochure that will assist you in resolving each of the conflicts:
- Social Security Card – The Department of Education could not confirm your social security number with your name or date of birth.
- Selective Service – The Department of Education could not confirm that you registered with selective service.
- Proof of Citizenship or Eligible Non-Citizen – The Department of Education could not confirm your citizenship status.
