Graduation Ceremony Information
Update: Last day to submit a Graduation Request for the 2012 Ceremony is April 30th at 4:00 p.m.
April 9, 2012 – Deadline to submit your request to participate in the graduation ceremony. Requests submitted after April 9th will not have name appear in the graduation program.
April 23 – May 7, 2012 – Must pick up your cap and gown and pay $35.00 Graduation Fee at the CGTC College Bookstore (Macon or Milledgeville location) during regular store hours.
GRADUATION PRACTICE - May 7, 2012 - Monument Room, Macon Centreplex Coliseum

Starts at 5:15 p.m.

Practice will last approximately one (1) hour.

If you are unable to attend, you MUST have a representative attend for you.
GRADUATION CEREMONY - May 8, 2012 - Monument Room, Macon Centreplex Coliseum

All graduates must be seated in the Monument Room by 6:00 p.m.

Graduation ceremony begins promptly at 7:00 p.m.

The ceremony lasts approximately two hours.
- Graduates may invite as many guests as they like.
Tickets and Parking

Tickets are NOT issued for the graduation ceremony. You may invite as many people as you like. There is no charge for parking. There will be traffic, so please plan accordingly.
- Graduates need to enter on the west side of the Centreplex Coliseum. Look for the blue and white signs directing to the Lower Level, Monument Room Entrance.
Cap and Gown

Pick up your cap and gown and pay $35.00 Graduation Fee at the CGTC College Bookstore (Macon or Milledgeville location) during regular store hours from April 23 – May 7.

You must have a 3.5 cumulative CGTC GPA or higher to qualify for honors status. All Honors Graduate recipients will receive a gold cord at practice.

Graduates should wear dark colored clothing and shoes, preferably black or navy under your gown.
Additional Items Available for Purchase

If you wish to purchase invitations or additional tassels you may purchase them at the bookstore. Be advised you should not purchase items until you know you are actually eligible to graduate and walk in the ceremony.

A professional photographer will be on site.
